In a dream it would seem
I went to those who close the open door
And turning the key I sat and spoke to
Those inside of me

 

                                                                 꿈 속에서 난 누군가에게 다가간 것 같았어..

                                                                                 그들은 열려있는 문을 닫았어..

                                                                                    열쇠로 문을 잠그고 앉아서 

                                                          내 안에 들어있는 그 사람들에게 이야기를 걸었지..

   They answered my questions
with questions and they pointed me into the night
Where the moon was star painted dancer
And the world was just a spectrum of light

 

 

그들은 여러가지 질문들로 다시 내 질문에 대답을 하더군..
그리고서 달님이 별빛으로 칠한 무용수처럼 보이는..
밤 속으로 나를 향하게 했어..

이 세상은 마치 찬란한 빛의 스펙트럼 같았지..

 

 

They reached to my centre of reason
And pulled on the touchstone that's that
The shock of that light had me realing
And I fell into the death of despair

 

그 사람은 내 이성의 가운데로 다가와서

처음부터 그 곳에 존재하고 있었던 

시험의 기준을 자극했어

난 그 불빛에 놀라서 동요되었고

절망의 나락으로 떨어졌어

 

 

They answered my questions with questions
And set me to stand on the brink
Where the sun and the moon were as brothers
And all that was left was to think

 

그 들은 여러가지 질문들로 다시 내 질문들에 대답하더군

해와 달이 형제가 되어 만나는 곳의 가장자리에 내가 서 있게 했어

그리고 내게 남겨진 모든 것은 생각해 보는 것 뿐

To figure out which way was right.

 

그 들은 여러가지 질문들로 다시 내 질문에 대답을 하고는

나를 밤 속으로 향하도록 했지

나를 지탱해 주고 있던 그 힘은

어느 길이 옳은 길인지 고민하도록 날 혼자 남겨 뒀어..
